The Weatherbeater fairgrounds are being upgraded to serve as a year-round event destination. Improvements allow the facility to host events in all seasons — from livestock and equitation events and 4-H educational programs in summer, to a winter concert series, holiday and seasonal programs, vendor fairs, and bingo nights. These renovations benefit both local residents and overnight visitors looking for things to do during their travels.
